Order & Delivery Policy

• Inside Dhaka:

Cash on Delivery is available.

 • Outside Dhaka:

A confirmation fee of 300 BDT is required in advance.

• Simple Trousers:

As each piece is made-to-order, we require an advance payment to begin production. Partial: 1050 BDT | Full: 2390 / 2750 / 3250 BDT

 • Simple Loafers:

A trial charge of 300 BDT applies only if the shoes are not taken upon delivery, as careful packaging and dispatch are involved.

• Returns:

Return charge is 150 BDT inside Dhaka, as each order involves dedicated packaging and handling. The charges are not penalties, but exist to ensure fairness and sustainability for a small-batch brand like ours.

Terms & Conditions

 1. Order Processing:

○ Orders begin processing only after payment confirmation (where applicable).

○ Made-to-order items require 5–10 business days for crafting before dispatch.

2. Alterations: 

○ Trousers cannot be refunded but minor alterations (waist, length, tapering) are free of charge within 7 days of receiving the item.

 ○ Transport costs for alterations must be borne by the customer.

3. Exchange & Return Eligibility:

○ Only on-spot returns are accepted during delivery.

○ We reserve the right to refuse exchanges or returns for products showing signs of wear, damage, or modification.

4. Delivery:

○ Delivery time may vary due to factors beyond our control (courier delays, weather, or national holidays).

○ Customers will be notified of any unexpected delays. 

5. Refunds:

○ Refunds are applicable only for cancellations before dispatch or if the product is unavailable.

○ Refunds are processed through the original bKash transaction within 3–5 business days.

6. Product Variation:

○ As every piece is handcrafted in small batches, slight variations in color, texture, or finish may occur—these are considered part of their natural character.

 7. Trial & Return Fees:

○ Trial and return fees are non-profit charges covering packaging, delivery coordination, and third-party logistics.

 ○ They ensure fairness and balance between maker and buyer.

8. Order Cancellation:

 ○ Orders cannot be canceled once production has begun, especially for made-to-order items.

 9. Responsibility After Delivery:

○ Once a product is delivered in good condition, Simple Declaration is not liable for damage or misuse thereafter.

10. Ethical Commitment:

 • Each piece is made in limited quantities by local artisans who are fairly compensated for their time and skill.

 1. What if I don’t like the trousers?

As our trousers are made-to-order, they cannot be returned. However, alterations can be done free of charge, with transportation costs borne by the customer.

 2. What if the shoes don’t fit and I need another size?

You can return the shoes by paying the refundable trial charge, and contact us via our social media page for a different size. 

3. How do shoe returns work?

Shoe returns are accepted only on the spot during delivery.
