Simple Studio Shirt: 水/Shuǐ — Deep Water

Inspired by 水/Shuǐ (Water), an element associated with flow, depth and adaptability, the Simple Studio Shirt translates these qualities through a light, fluid construction and a relaxed silhouette.

The Simple Studio Shirt is cut in a cropped, blouson-style silhouette, finished with a classic collar and an elasticated hem that gathers the fabric around the waist and gives the shirt its distinctive shape. The relaxed body and dropped shoulders create volume through the upper half, while the elasticated finish brings the silhouette back in at the waist. The cropped proportion visually enhances height while keeping the silhouette balanced. At the back, a central pleat adds volume and ease of movement, while contrast stitching subtly highlights the construction.

Made from a lightweight, breathable linen-blend fabric, the shirt retains the natural texture and fluid drape of linen while remaining well suited to warmer summer days. Deep Water, the colourway, is an extremely dark navy that sits close to black, revealing more of its blue character as the light changes.
